Modular Village Accommodation

On a mission to set a new benchmark in mining accommodation standards, our team was engaged by Mineral Resources to design and deliver two modular village structures to support the company’s remote accommodation needs for employees. Drawing on insights gained from our larger village projects with Mineral Resources, our architectural design focused on durability and mobility of both village structures.

With employee comfort and wellbeing remaining a core consideration throughout, the main village design included a comprehensive suite of amenities, including a kitchen, dining area, recreation room, gym and 40 bedrooms. Complementing the main village design was the mini village, designed to offer flexible office spaces and accommodation, to cater to the company’s diverse operational needs.

A core feature of the project is the site’s mobility and efficiency, with both villages designed to be packed down, relocated, and reassembled within a mere 10 hours. This innovative approach to on-site accommodation ensures adaptability and rapid deployment, meeting the dynamic requirements of remote operations.
